Rolleston-on-Dove Station Heritage Group (RSHG) is a volunteer organisation under the umbrella of The Rolleston Engineering and Transport Society (TREATS). The mission is to maintain the surviving railway artifacts as well as the fauna and flora.
New volunteers are always welcome to join monthly working parties convened on the first Saturday morning of every month, from 10am, weather permitting. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Keeping a high profile in the locality the group attend various events with a display. Such events this coming season will include the Scouts Carnival, Rolleston Transport Festival and the Village Fair.
To arrest the interest of the younger generation, illustrated talks are presented to local schools, usually followed-up by a visit to site.
The Bulletin is published half-yearly and a digital copy is sent to all ‘Friends of RSHG’ and other interested parties. The latest version is below:

A not to be missed event to be convened just down the road from the Station Heritage Site.
We will be attending the show with a special display that should appeal to the railway modellers.
The visitor will have the opportunity to see the models that represent the buildings and also the locomotives and carriages that made-up the Tutbury Jinny from 1894 until 1960.

We attended the Village Fayre on August bank holiday Monday with the display and attracted the attention of many members of the public, answering questions about the railway and encouraging new volunteers to join us maintining the heritage site in good order.
